• To ensure a smooth entry into Uzbekistan, GoUzbekistan provides the following essential customs guidelines for 2026.

  💰 Currency

  • Import: You can bring an unlimited amount of foreign currency. Declaration is required only if the amount exceeds 100,000,000 UZS (approx. $8,000 USD).

  • Export: You can take out up to 100,000,000 UZS without declaration. For higher amounts, you will need proof of the funds' origin (entry declaration).

  💊 Medication

  Uzbekistan has strict regulations regarding psychotropic and strong painkillers.

  • Always carry a doctor's prescription in English or Russian.

  • Check the prohibited list before your flight.

  🏺 Souvenirs & Antiques

  • Items older than 50 years are considered national treasures and require a special export permit.
